Vol. 1, Issue 19: The Epicenter of Our City

Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter: LoanMart Field

The Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter, now known as LoanMart Field, is a prominent landmark in Rancho Cucamonga. Since its inauguration in 1993, this multi-use sports complex has been the home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, a minor league baseball team affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Facilities and Features

The complex encompasses a 6,000-seat professional baseball stadium featuring an elevated pedestrian concourse that offers spectators panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Beyond the main stadium, the Epicenter includes three adult league ball fields, soccer fields, and ample parking areas. The design prioritizes environmental considerations by incorporating native and drought-resistant landscaping to minimize water usage.

Naming and Sponsorship

Originally dubbed the City of Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter Entertainment & Sports Complex, the venue underwent a name change in 2013 following a sponsorship agreement with LoanMart, a financial services company. This partnership led to the current name, LoanMart Field.

Community Engagement and Accessibility

LoanMart Field is deeply integrated into the local community, hosting events beyond baseball, including concerts, festivals, and other sporting events. The facility is designed to be fully ADA accessible, ensuring all guests enjoy the amenities comfortably.

Recent Developments

In October 2024, the City of Rancho Cucamonga announced a 15-year extension of the agreement with the Quakes, ensuring that the team will continue to call the Epicenter home for the foreseeable future.

Visitor Experience

Attendees often commend the stadium for its clean facilities, family-friendly atmosphere, and convenient parking. The venue offers a quintessential minor league baseball experience, with affordable ticket prices and engaging entertainment.
